Surf lifesaving is an amazing activity for growing a child’s confidence, knowledge and skills in the beach environment.
We like to call it serious fun!
It’s not all hard work. Our Junior Activities “Nippers” program focuses on fun, participation and play all while learning important lessons in beach and surf awareness. Catering for children aged 5 – 12 years, Nippers teaches lessons and skills which allow young people to continue in lifesaving and sport as they grow older. Not only will your child have fun and meet new friends, they will develop the ability to become a knowledgeable participant in lifesaving beach patrols as well as a wide range of surf sports.
Nipper Parent Guide
The below Nipper Parent Guide is designed to give you a thorough overview as to what you can expect for your child as a participant in Surf Life Saving’s Nippers program and as a member of both Geraldton Surf Life Saving Club and Surf Life Saving Western Australia (SLSWA).
